This novella is brilliant! It says so right on the cover and then delivers a fun-filled mystery story about AI bots (artificial intelligence robots) who address the problems of the world in a most intelligent way. Clarifying the concepts of bots, they are humanized through Julie, a grad student proposing that artificial intelligence is more than the accumulation of data. Her Doctoral Theses for Political Science and Computer Science depend on it. For a quick run through a field of robots acting as an “untainted Congress” learning through observation and analysis, I recommend this novella.
